Compared to the internet, it is difficult to censor newspapers, magazines and books as few people have the time or inclination to read thousands of pages and pinpoint a mistake or error. If you use the internet extensively all your activities are closely monitored and analysed, resulting in a loss of privacy. In the last few years ad stalking has become common, with the same ads being displayed on every website you visit. Eventually, users under online surveillance will reduce their usage of the internet.
